Predator: Osiris

People have always been attracted to those that have the courage to stand up before a crowd and speak, whether as a voice of wisdom, authority, celebrity, or some mix of them all. And for as long as this has been a common practice, there have also been those willing to take advantage of the crowds for their own ends. They attract others to them as worshippers, fans, willing slaves. Where humans go, vampires follow suit, and if a vampire uses this tactic they are referred to as an Osiris (plural: Osirans).
The Osiris is not just part of a large group; in a lot of ways, they are the group. The group from which they feed is focused around them as a cult of personality. But a good leader knows the rhetoric they are laying out backwards and forwards, indicated by the character gaining a Specialty in either Occult (specific traditions) or Performance (specific entertainment field). The vampire may be intimately known by a small army of "worshippers," or they may be more generally known by a larger group of people that admire them. This you can see in the mechanics by splitting three dots between the Fame and Herd backgrounds.
The problem with the vampire playing a role in the center is that they have a tendency to get caught up in their own mythology. For some of them, the exposure of being in such a role means that they have enemies (and the Enemies flaw) that act against them for reasons such as jealousy, vengeance, or intolerance. For others, the legend and mythology associated with their position has the possibility of trapping them, represented by the Mythic flaw.
Of course, the "Cult of Personality" needs a personality to focus on, which is why most Osirans take the option of a level of the Presence discipline. This allows for the vampire to BE that mysterious but magnetic figure that his followers see. While the rules as written say that only Tremere characters should be able to take the Blood Sorcery discipline as part of this Predator Type, I would suggest that most kindred have this option, assuming their "cult" would allow for it. Obviously a rock god wouldn't have it, but I could make a convincing argument for a Serpent Cult (or something similar).

Character Concepts:
The Last Vampire, who's cult is formed around the concept of there being no more (other) vampires, but whose members will soon be chosen to repopulate the world; The Local Celebrity, who (through music, performance, etc) maintains legions of followers in the city; The Wise Witch, who often takes new apprentices to build her coven (and takes their blood as payment); The Faith Healer, who serves the community and has a give and take arrangement with clients; The Up and Coming Rockstar, who has a small but super loyal following; The King in Rags, who rules the homeless population as their savior and protector.

Roleplaying Tips:
For many cult leaders, megalomania is a persistent problem. Think about how your character might exhibit this behavior, with or without a Compulsion roll.
Sometimes an "enemy" isn't an enemy at all, but an overzealous fan or worshiper that makes the Osiran's life difficult.
For Players, be mindful of how the Mythic flaws come about, not just in the rules but in the way the vampire expresses knowledge of, and reaction to, this flaw.
The Osiris, as a character, gives us hints at the evolution of the vampire as a predator. It speaks to the vampire's desire to overcome their Beast and bend it to their will, working "smarter not harder" to feed as a sophisticated being. But what happens when the Beast fights back against this attempt?
Never forget how much the Camarilla dislikes its members being in any kind of spotlight.
